CLAW (Center for Learning and Winning)

CLAW (Center for Learning and Winning)

This is all about GIVING BACK to Davis-Monthan AFB Airmen, the armed forces, veterans and their families.

The WWII hangar-styled buildings will house the golf club house, pro shop, dining and event spaces.  They will also house the education center.

The Warbird CLAW goes hand-in-hand with the golf course and outdoor aircraft museum, providing enhanced Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education for military and community youth.

Our Teaching and Learning Goals:

  • 1 STEM EDUCATION programs for all ages, military spouses, kids from the local community and on base. We are collaborating with the Tiger Woods Foundation, Raytheon Corporation, Northop Grumman and other like-minded organizations.
  • 2 EXECUTION STRATEGIES bridge the vast gap between LEARNING and WINNING. The CLAW will have a large emphasis on execution, regardless of topic.
  • 3 FINANCIAL READINESS is a key skill we want to teach not only young Airmen, but also those getting ready for retirement and retired Veterans. We are collaborating with Vantage West and Hanscom Federal Credit Union to deliver these life-enhancing lessons.

We are proud to present renderings of the CLAW below
